do you guys ever think about that time in season 3 when buffy had to talk to the school counselor and he was played by mr. moseby and at first she was all dismissive of it but then he actually got through to her so she went back to his office and admitted that she was scared and actually asked for help but it turned out that she was talking to mr. moseby's dead body and then for the rest of the show she never asked anybody for help ever again? because I think about it every day

the hardest thing in this world is to live in it. be brave. live. is so beautiful and such a heart wrenching moment between buffy and dawn but it’s also the saddest thing I have ever heard. this is coming from buffy summers, who ever since she was called has had to fight every day of her life to survive. coming from a girl who was murdered when she was sixteen years old, who didn’t want to die. this is coming from a girl who had to kill the person she was in love with to save the world. someone who has seen classmates slaughtered on a regular basis. a girl who found her mother dead on their living room couch from a brain tumour. a girl who fought tooth and nail to survive every battle, every single apocalypse. who despite every effort to live is sacrificing her life all over again at twenty.

the hardest thing in this world is to live in it. buffy summers knows better than anyone just how hard that is.

it is actually so goddamn funny (and annoying) how blatantly bisexual so many buffyverse characters are but due to bisexuality not being a fully accepted/recognized thing (in the public eye i guess apparently) it's just. never treated as a possible way for the characters to identify. like

willow goes from liking strictly men to strictly liking women. with no exceptions outside of jokes. this CAN be explained as comphet but i highly doubt it was intended that way. now don't quote me on this but i think i recall hearing that she WAS initially supposed to be bisexual, but this was changed/not followed through on bc audiences Might Not Get It. ??? alright

all the vampires are at least a little not straight. most have been implied or even outright stated to have had gay sex at some point. but like it's weird. idk

not to mention in the comics, where buffy sleeps with a woman for a bit and EVERYONE IN HER LIFE gets mad at her for doing so because she's "obviously straight". even spike (someone who has also canonically dabbled in same-sex activities) gets involved in the buffybashing. but like she was very blatantly into this girl and what they were doing together so like??? ?.????? even the gay characters were mad at her for this

and that's just the really obvious stuff!!! i haven't even mentioned xander! or doyle! the list just keeps going

I'm genuinely surprised that Spangel isn't at least as popular as Spuffy. It's a fascinating ship, with so much depth to it. They have such an intense history together, and such complex feelings for each other, especially Angel. The way he constantly pretends to hate Spike and yet has never been able to bring himself to try to kill him, even when Spike was evil, and how in s5 of ATS he was gruffly protective of Spike anytime Spike was in real danger, to the point of being willing to take a stake for him, without a second thought. And Spike also showed up for Angel anytime Angel was in danger. Plus they've canonically had sex once, and Angelus was clearly attracted to Spike when they first met, getting jealous when Spike left him to go find Drusilla.

Dgmw, I totally understand why people are into Spuffy, I am too, but I feel like Spangel is just as interesting(more so to me tbh). Is it simply that there are more straight people in the world? Idk.
